I HAVE RECEIVED A PARKING CHARGE NOTICE, WHAT HAPPENS NOW?
If you pay your parking charge notice and it reaches Parking Collection Services on or by the 14th day after the parking charge notice was issued to the your vehicle the value will be £60.00. Motorists paying in the first 14 days will receive a 40% discount.
On the 15th day the parking charge notice value shall rise to £100.00 and the discounted rate will no longer apply.
It is important to check and ensure the correct amount is paid on time, as late payments shall leave your case open and the full balance shall be sought through the debt recovery process.
If your payment has not been received by the 28th day after issuing of the parking charge notice the registered keeper details may be requested from the DVLA / DVA or the European equivalent. The registered keeper details will be sought through the ‘Reasonable Cause’ request of pursuing an outstanding private parking charge notice.
Once we have received the registered keeper details the first stage of the debt recovery process shall begin.
In the event that a payment has not been made after the given timeline your case will be passed through to our debt recovery agent, where additional costs will be incurred. These costs, together with interest, will be added to the monies that are already owed.
